Abuse Policy
Reporting and handling network abuse on EricServic.es.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Purpose
EricServic.es is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful network for all customers. This Abuse Policy describes prohibited conduct, how to report abuse originating from our network, and how we respond to reports.
Prohibited activity
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our services:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or phishing campaigns.
- Hosting or distributing malware, botnet command infrastructure, or exploit kits.
- Launching or facilitating denial-of-service attacks.
- Scanning or probing third-party networks without authorization.
- Copyright infringement, fraud, harassment, or illegal content distribution.
- Circumventing service limits or using resources in ways that degrade service for others.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse involving an EricServic.es IP address or customer, email abuse@ericservic.es or support@ericservic.es. Include timestamps, source/destination IPs, URLs, log excerpts, and any other evidence that helps us investigate. We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day.
Our response
Verified abuse may result in notification to the account holder, temporary suspension, permanent termination, or cooperation with law enforcement as appropriate. Repeat or severe violations may be addressed without prior warning. We may block malicious sources at the network edge; see our IP Block List for aggregated blocks applied to scanners and known bad actors.
Customer obligations
Customers must respond promptly to abuse notifications and remediate issues. Failure to cooperate may result in service suspension. You are responsible for securing systems you operate and for content transmitted through your account.
False reports
Knowingly submitting false or malicious abuse reports may itself violate applicable law. We reserve the right to reject reports that lack sufficient evidence or appear to be submitted in bad faith.
